AKA SCHOOLS, ISTANBUL CAMPUS HOSTED THE COMENIUS PROJECT PREPARATORY VISIT
Aka Schools has launched a new project with 8 countries (Ireland, Poland, Finland, Italy, Portugal, France, Romania and Greece) for international cooperation with regard to the improvement of the quality of the school education, reinforcement of education on European level and development of studies which would allow the generation of intercultural dialogue. Aka Schools, İstanbul Campus hosted the Comenius Preparation Meeting which was held between October 15th and 19th.
Mrs. Besime Erbilen, the Comenius Project Coordinator and the CAS Coordinator welcomed our guests who arrived in İstanbul on October 15th.
Our guests held a 3-hour meeting in the school. During the meeting the ideas were exchanged, and decisions were taken on the project in question and future oriented steps were taken. Mr Halim Kadıoğlu, our school founder gave our guests plaquets of Aka Schools and some İstanbul souvenirs. And the guests gave our founder the books which they brought from their countries to be put into the library of our school. Our guests found our school highly equipped in every aspect. They found the opportunity to watch the classes. They expressed that our children receving education in such a high technological environment are very lucky.
Our guests have also visited the historical places and got acquainted with the Turkish culture. They have also tasted the Turkish Cuisine.
Our guests returned to their country on October 19th with great memories.
