Welcome to the website of Aka School / Istanbul which aims to provide a quality education that fosters learning. We take pride in the fact that our school is an IB World School. I am privileged to lead the team of experienced teachers and supporting staff who are dedicated to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people and create a better, more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
Education in our school is academically rich and challenging -
preparing students for their university of choice. We offer diverse
learning experiences and opportunities for personal achievements.
Effective partnership with the
teachers keeps parents fully informed and engaged in their child’s
education, providing the support that maximizes academic and social
development. We provide a full programme of parental consultations,
workshops and social events. Our aim is to ensure that the parents feel
empowered to support their child throughout all stages of their
education.
